The Line

9:33 PM ‘Twas a busy day indeed! There were a lot of people everywhere and they were just there waiting. The line had meandered through the fourth floor with no one able to tell where it ends. None can determine whether the loitering crowd was just there to marvel or disdain at the length of the line.

And so the day progressed… one number called… and then the next… and then the next… until no one answered to the last number called. One looks up. The sun has already set and there are just empty seats.

Lord, thank you for the patience and the cheery nature that you have showered us with today. May tomorrow be even more productive and cheerful as today.
